Soft, Dense Wool Polishing Face

The working face is a thick, soft wool pile, listed by the material spec as 100% wool. Wool pads are used for polishing and waxing car paint, and the long fibers carry compound and wax across the panel while staying soft to the touch.

[ 02 · BACKING ]

Hook-and-Loop Back, Quick Pad Changes

A black hook-and-loop fabric back is bonded to the wool so the pad presses straight onto a matching backing plate. The strong grip is designed to resist detachment during use, and pads peel off quickly when you switch between compounds.

[ 03 · USE ]

For Polishers, Drills and Angle Grinders

Mount the pad on a backing plate fitted to a rotary polisher, an electric drill or an angle grinder. Smaller diameters reach mirror housings, pillars and tight curves, while 6 and 7 inch pads cover doors, bonnets and roofs.

Small pads for detail areas
2 to 4 inch sizes for mirrors, trims and edges.
Large pads for panels
5 to 7 inch sizes for broad, flat surfaces.

[ 04 · SIZE & PACKING ]

Six Diameters and Three Styles

Standard hook-and-loop pads are offered from 50 to 180 mm. The wool face overhangs the backing slightly, for example a 7 inch wool face on a 6 inch back, so the plate edge stays covered by wool. A 180 mm edged pad and a 180 mm drawstring bonnet are also available.
